Hello Iroquois Ridge Families,

The past three days have been incredible, and it’s been wonderful to see the students back in the building. The energy and excitement they bring truly makes the school come alive. Our staff and students have been engaging in relationship-building activities in their classrooms, which will help create a strong foundation for learning throughout the year.

This week, our administration team hosted grade assemblies where we discussed key expectations such as the importance of kindness and respect toward one another, making good choices, as well as encouraging students to get involved in activities outside the classroom. Speaking of involvement, we’re excited to announce that our Club Day will be coming up soon, giving students the opportunity to explore all the different clubs available at the school.

We’re also looking forward to our first football game of the season on Friday, September 13th, at Bronte Field, where we’ll face Lorne Park. In other exciting news, the drama department will be performing The Outsiders, with auditions coming up shortly.

Please remember that next week is a 5/4 week where we flip the last 2 periods of the day.

School Photo day is Friday September 13th. Students will be called down by class and photographed in the small gym. Please do not bring money that day. A proof will be sent home within 2 weeks of photo day where you can review your photo and purchase it online.
